In about a month’s time, citizens all across America will head to the voting booth to cast their vote for the next president of the United States. Voters will decided based on a variety of reasons, but one seems to slip everyone’s minds: THE AMISH. That’s right, the Amish - the group of people most responsible for the Great Recession, high gas prices and global warming. They overcharge us for their heaters, which cost the average middle class family an extra $24 each month. The amount of oil they consume for their lanterns has caused the world supply of oil to go down by 8%, which in turn leads to the high gas prices we are paying today. But let’s not forget about global warming. The amount of carbon monoxide released into the atmosphere from Amish horse doo-doo is astonishing. Lisa P. Jackson, head of the EPA said “[Amish horse feces] is the number one cause of the deteriorating ozone layer.”
