Yesterday, House Republicans passed a bill repealing health care reform.  It will now be sent to the Senate, where Democrats are expected to use it to prop up a wobbly conference table.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is meeting with Republican Party officials in Iowa on Friday, signaling she may be gearing up for a presidential run.  If Bachmann does run, it'll be to make Sarah Palin look electable by comparison.

Sen. Joe Lieberman announced that he is retiring and will not seek a fifth term.  So yes, Lindsey Graham, you'll finally have John McCain all to yourself.
