Putin's victory party at Johnny Rocket's
OLYMPIA, WA – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin scored an upset win in the Washington State GOP caucus Saturday night, besting his nearest competitor by double digits.  Though the foreign leader was not expected to win or even compete, Putin supporters swarmed caucus sites around the state, stringing together a few words of English to voice their support for the Russian strongman.  In his election night victory speech at an Olympia Johnny Rocket’s, Putin lauded the “totally legitimate outcome.”
“I applaud the people of Washington for making the right choice in this election.  But of course, the consequences of making the wrong choice would have been extreme,” said a shirtless Putin, chuckling.
The cliquish Putin supporters arrived at caucus sites together on buses, enthusiastically throwing their support behind the foreign head of state.
